Children

Families with children are warmly welcomed. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers during Shabbat worship. Age-appropriate children's ministry runs alongside the service. Learn about our Children's Ministry →

Your First Shabbat

Arrival

Doors open before 10:00 AM. Greeters will welcome you and help you find a seat. Feel free to introduce yourself — our congregation loves meeting new faces.

Worship (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

The service includes Hebrew prayers and blessings, congregational singing in Hebrew and English, a Torah reading from the weekly portion, and a message centered on Messiah Yeshua.

Oneg (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM)

After the service, the congregation shares a communal meal — the Oneg. This is a beautiful time of fellowship, conversation, and community. Everyone is welcome to stay.

Midrash (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)

For those who want to go deeper, our Midrash Torah study follows the Oneg. It's an open, discussion-based deep dive into the weekly Torah portion. Questions are not just welcomed — they're encouraged.

Hebrew Language

Hebrew is woven throughout our service — prayers, blessings, and song. Don't worry if you don't know Hebrew. Transliterations and English translations are always available. Learning together is part of the joy.

Feast Days & Special Events

Throughout the year we celebrate the Biblical feasts — Pesach, Shavuot, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Hanukkah — each with its own unique service, meal, and traditions. See our full calendar →

FAQ

Absolutely not. Melech Ha Olam welcomes both Jewish and Gentile believers. Our congregation is a diverse family of people from many backgrounds united by faith in the G-D of Israel and Messiah Yeshua.

Not at all. Transliterations and English translations accompany all Hebrew portions of the service. Learning Hebrew together is something we encourage and celebrate — everyone starts somewhere.

Messianic Judaism is a movement of Jewish and Gentile believers who accept Yeshua as the promised Messiah of Israel while maintaining a distinctly Jewish expression of their faith — observing Shabbat, the Biblical feasts, and Torah. Learn more →

Come as often as you like before making any commitment. When you feel ready to make Melech Ha Olam your spiritual home, speak with our leadership. We would love to walk that path with you.
